It is impossible to talk about this scene without mentioning Paul Mond. From playing punk rock with his friends as a teenager to producing and having his tracks played all over the world he has come a long way. From his signature acoustic guitar riffs to heavy uptempo beats, Paul has been doing his Brazilian influenced ‘flips’ and spreading them on SoundCloud since 2017. Going through multiple genres and styles, he has established himself as a strong name in the scene as a DJ & producer.

With over 20 million streams on all streaming platforms combined, Paul has had multiple of his tracks featured at Soulection Radio and played by dozens of prominent music selectors from all over the world such as Dj Jazzy Jeff, Kenny Beats, Skrillex or A-Trak. Recently, his track 'robot rock (funk)' went viral on TikTok and went up to over 12 million streams within just a few months.

In addition, Paul has already had the chance to play in key venues all over the world, in LA, Jakarta, Parallel in Amsterdam, Razzmatazz in Barcelona and Antidoto in Madrid as a DJ. As a producer, he has collaborated with many relevant names in the scene, such as Tera Kora, S! RENE, Dave Nunes, and Pantera, with whom he has worked as a producer and dj duo since 2023. Together, Paul and Pantera have brought a fresh air to the scene with their uptempo Brazilian electronic music productions, opening up spaces for a whole new style little explored outside Brazil.
